Occasion: an Easter Brunch
Location: my dining room
Must Haves: make it nice!

We love an Easter brunch and are also leaning into all things pastel and spring-like these days. Whether this is a post-church gathering or in lieu of a religious event, we know this will be celebratory and communal. While you didn’t specify an age range, we made the food accessible for all ages, so hopefully you’ve got a big crowd. Read on for our ideas…

We believe brunch without booze is just breakfast, so we would definitely serve a white wine and mimosa bar. If you have the bandwidth (or access), fresh squeezed juice is always better but either way, serving choices of juice is celebratory and a fun take on a mimosa. We would also have coffee and tea available, and of course, the kiddos can just enjoy the juice.

If you’re serving a big crowd and want to stretch the event, we would serve some light bites to start. We love a theme, so we would go with these. For the meal, we would definitely include a bagel board. Similar to a cheese board, this option allows your guests to customize their bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and accoutrement! The internet (and Pinterest) is your playground, so enjoy all sorts of inspiration. We would also serve a green salad like this one and potato latkes. End the meal with coconut cupcakes so everyone is sugar-fueled for the egg hunt.

For the table, we love this tablecloth and would use our ‘spring tablescape formula.’ If you’ve been following our instagram, you know that we have some fun tabletop options coming next month so definitely don’t stock up on plates before then. If the vase route isn’t for you, we are loving our blue and white pieces with spring branches. Grab these and make your centerpiece for Easter-y.

We’ve been swooning over this new-to-us company and loving their prints and their process. You can’t go wrong with any of their items but we have our eyes on this one.
