How do you like to entertain? What is the vibe (where, feeling, how)? We love to entertain in our homes with early cocktails and charcuterie in the living room with a fire lit that casually leads into the dining room for dinner. The feeling is homey, inviting, cozy, and relaxed - an easy place to catch up with friends sans the chaos of young kids!
What are you serving? We love to make hours d’oeuvres and have little snacks (think charcuterie boards, caprese skewers, roasted artichokes, cheese straws, olives, and nuts). We would rather spend time enjoying ourselves than being stressed over the stovetop, so we always vote for takeout.
What are you sipping? Tequila cocktails, Vermentino, and Oregon Pinot Noir
What are you wearing? Morgan is wearing a skirt with a belt and scarf. Ally is wearing bold-colored high-waisted pants with a cropped sweater.
What are you listening to? JJ Grey & Mofro radio
How do you make your guests feel special? How do you make them feel at home? Good music and good wine are the basics. Let’s throw in some inviting vibes, specialty drinks, and collected interiors and we’ve got ourselves the ultimate house party!
If you are hosting a dinner, what is your go-to centerpiece? Greenery from the yard and Trader Joe’s flowers in the Half Past Seven ginger jar.
How do you end a celebration? We start cocktails and dinner early because we aren’t night owls. By 10pm we’re in bed and so are our guests :)
