How do you like to entertain? What is the vibe (where, feeling, how)? Truth be told, I am much better at setting the table than cooking the food. If you come over for dinner you will likely be eating take-out on fine china. But, I think the true beauty of entertaining is in the high low mix. Effortlessly elegant is the vibe I am always striving for. I adore entertaining in my newly redesigned dining room (done by the wonderfully talented Becky Nielsen) and I have been known to even serve McDonalds fries on silver trays paired with fine champagne. Fancy yet FUN!

What are you serving? Take out on china ;)

What are you sipping? My two favorite drinks are bellinis and espresso martinis - I love offering them to guests as fun cocktail options you don’t find everywhere. Bellinis for morning or afternoon and espresso martinis for evening.

What are you wearing? A dress barefoot.

What are you listening to? Nancy Meyers Kitchen Spotify playlist. Nothing better.

How do you make your guests feel special? How do you make them feel at home? I always feel the more at ease you are as a host, the more it makes your guest feels at home.

If you are hosting a dinner, what is your go-to centerpiece? Gorgeous flowers, always. Truly my favorite part of any tablescape.

How do you end a celebration? Hopefully, with a dance party!

What is your favorite Half Past Seven product to entertain with? Our upcoming collab cocktail napkins, of course! Particularly the “This or That” Set for evening. Stay tuned!

Let’s play this or that…

  • Charger OR Placemat: Charger
  • Stemmed OR Stem-less: Stemmed
  • Red OR White: White
  • Tablecloth OR Bare: Tablecloth
  • Votives OR Taper Candle: Tapers
  • Formal OR Informal: BOTH - beauty in the mix!
