San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where our glassware is made and etched is known as the 'Heart of Mexico.' So these glasses are appropriately named and are near and dear to our hearts. Mouth-blown and hand-etched, these glasses are made with recycled glass and now available in three colors - clear, iridescent amethyst and amethyst. 


Please note that as unique, handmade pieces, no two are ever exactly the same and size and etchings can vary slightly. Our website photos are a close representation, but may not be identical to the piece you receive.

These glasses were hand-etched and mouth-blown by artists in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The mouth-blowing technique is one that was brought to Mexico in the 1500s by Spanish settlers. Your purchase helps to support the preservation of heritage crafts.

We love the juxtaposition of these tiny hearts with the heavy weight of our recycled glass. These hearts are intricately hand-etched and each glass takes an artisan about 30 minutes to complete. True works of art!
