Our favorite holiday is finally here! We cannot wait to gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving. Not only do we love the communal nature of this holiday, we love the entertaining aspects. Cocktails, appetizers, and of course the full meal take center stage at Thanksgiving and we are here for it.

The perfect Thanksgiving table in our books is one that is cozy and inviting, but still tells a story. We always love what Sweetgrass has to offer but especially love their “Lotus Blossom” pattern for Thanksgiving. It’s unexpected but still autumnal and will pair perfectly with our blue and white porcelain pieces. We’re planning on placing several down the center of our tables with magnolia leaves and branches. We’re tucking in our olive votives here and there to add some low candlelight and will incorporate one of our bud vase collections with small greens as well. For a place setting, we’re keeping it simple with our rattan chargers and white ceramic plates. We’re pairing it with bamboo flatware.

Now that the table is set, let’s talk food and drink! We’re planning to kick off the big meal with a festive cocktail and are eyeing this Autumn Fizz. They will look great served in our tortoise rocks glasses. We’ll likely switch to wine at dinner and are setting the table with our stemless starry wine glasses. Prior to dinner, we’re staying with the board trend and are going to serve a goat cheese board on our large pewter tray. It’s sizable enough to handle a big crowd and wipes clean in a flash.

We aren’t going to begin to advise on a Thanksgiving menu. Between family traditions, experts on the internet, and decades of cookbooks, we are guessing you have a plan. Regardless of what is served, we’re opting for a relaxed dress, like this Emerson Fry number, to give us lots of room to partake.

Wishing you the most joyful and celebratory gathering!
