Stay Seated, Darling: The Best Batch Cocktails for Our New Verano Pitcher

Stay Seated, Darling: The Best Batch Cocktails for Our New Verano Pitcher

The best part about our new Verano Pitcher? You never have to abandon a great story mid-punchline to go “freshen someone’s drink.” You’ve already prepped like Ina -everything is batched, beautiful, and ready to serve. So now you get to do what the Verano was made for: sit, sip, and stay in the moment.

You’ve assembled the ingredients, stirred with flair, and garnished like you’ve got a food stylist on speed dial. The drinks are chilled, your guests are delighted, and your only job now is to enjoy their stories about lost luggage in Lisbon or the time Aunt Susan dated a magician.

We’ve crafted three perfect cocktails (and one chic mocktail) for our Verano—each with a Simple version that’s ready in minutes, and a Sophisticated upgrade when you're feeling a little Barefoot Contessa in a linen caftan.

1. The Endless Summer Spritz

Light, floral, and effortlessly chic—ideal for golden hour and gossip.

Simple:

  • 1 bottle Prosecco (750ml)

  • 1 cup elderflower liqueur (St-Germain)

  • 2 cups sparkling water

  • Garnish: lemon wheels + fresh mint

Combine directly in your Verano Pitcher over ice. Stir gently. Serve to applause.

Sophisticated:

  • Swap sparkling water for cucumber or yuzu soda

  • Add ½ cup fresh grapefruit juice

  • Float edible flowers and cucumber ribbons

  • Use large ice cubes with mint or thyme frozen inside

Serving Note: This is the cocktail equivalent of hosting in head-to-toe white without a care in the world.

2. Citrus Grove Margarita

Zesty, bold, and just sweet enough to keep the conversation lively.

Simple:

  • 2 cups silver tequila

  • 1 cup fresh lime juice (about 8 limes)

  • ¾ cup orange liqueur (Cointreau)

  • ½ cup simple syrup

  • Garnish: lime wheels + flaky salt or sugar rim

Stir in the Verano and pour over ice into salt-rimmed glasses. Done and delicious.

Sophisticated:

  • Add ½ cup fresh tangerine or blood orange juice

  • Muddle a jalapeño or two, then strain for subtle heat

  • Rim glasses with Tajín

  • Garnish with a grilled lime wheel or rosemary sprig

Serving Note: Like your most stylish friend—spicy, unexpected, and never overdone.

3. Golden Hour Mocktail

Because not every beautiful moment needs booze, but it should still look fabulous.

Simple:

  • 3 cups mango nectar

  • 1 cup coconut water

  • Juice of 2 limes

  • 2 cups sparkling water

  • Garnish: sliced strawberries + basil

Mix in the Verano Pitcher. Add the bubbles right before serving. Serve over ice with smug satisfaction.

Sophisticated:

  • Add a splash of yuzu juice or white balsamic for depth

  • Infuse the coconut water with cardamom overnight

  • Rim glasses with basil sugar

  • Garnish with frozen hibiscus cubes or starfruit

Serving Note: This one’s so pretty no one misses the booze—and it tastes like a vacation in a glass.

One Pitcher, Endless Possibilities

The Verano Pitcher was made for tables that feel easy but elevated, where the lighting is just right and the laughter rolls. Whether you’re planning a sunset supper, a backyard birthday, or an impromptu Tuesday soirée, these cocktails (and mocktails) keep the bar where it belongs—at arm’s reach.

And remember: if Ina would do it, so should you.
